Well that's why I stated I wish I had time I had time to try an i386
install... I don't have any hard facts but I seem to be one of the few
to have HD working so well on such low end hardware, and I'm still
running Gnome. I'm tempted to try fluxbox to see if that helps much
with the overhead.
