[mythtv-users] MHEG/OSD display glitch (+over-active CPU) when playing radio recordings on release-0-21-fixes

I'm getting MHEG display and OSD RGB display ghosting when playing recorded radio.

MHEG has its red component shifted horizontally. OSD is doing something somewhat similar.

The problem only occurs when playing radio recordings - not on live radio, and on neither live nor recorded TV.

I get this problem on the current Ubuntu 0.21.0+fixes16838-0ubuntu3 and also on a freshly checked out and compiled SVN build of 0.21.02 r17445.

Is this a known problem? Is there a workaround/patch?

(I can't see it in the tracker, wiki, lists, etc. The closest I've found is http://mythtv.org/pipermail/mythtv-users/2008-April/218707.html, but symptoms are too distinct.)
