[mythtv-users] Mixer configuration for usb mic

Hi,

Now that skype video for linux is out, I have been trying to run it from my myth box. (I'd love to use mythphone but everyone I know uses skype.) Anyway, I'm having problems figuring out the right mixer configuration.  Skype runs fine independently once I configure the mixer to enable the mic on "card 1 " (which is my usb webcam/mic); however, whenever mythtv starts up it seems to overwrite my mixer settings and disables "card 1".  I tried disabling the mythtv internal mixer, but that also disables myth's ability to control the volume - which is not really what I want. I've also been looking into updating my asoundrc, but I can't seem to come up with the right configuration.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!
