[mythtv-users] Do I gain anything in Myth by upgrading my Graphics card?

I've just realised that AGP seems to be a thing ov the past, so if I get 
a new motherboard I'll need a new Graphics card anyway.

D'oh!

I'd better buy fast before IDE is a thing of that past!

(Is IDE much slower than this new S-ATA?)
