[mythtv-users] Do I gain anything in Myth by upgrading my Graphics card?

Well I came across this one:
http://techreport.com/articles.x/12091

I bought the 2.6ghz Athlon 64 X2 (dual core processor) because it was
cheap. I think I paid $70 USD back in Nov. and it came with a heatsink and
fan.
It was a good enough heatsink, just a bit louder than I wanted.

I also looked at a different mobo with similar features that used the
Intel core 2 duo, but for a similar performance level the Intel setup cost
almost $100 more.
