[mythtv-users] why you use myth...like myth, or hate Microsoft

2 is the closest approximation, since I've been using Linux
enthusiastically since '98.

But the real spur was when I saw WinTV-Go cards on sale for  $20. I
figured that price was low enough to risk trying Mythtv (started with
Knoppmyth, then discovered ATrpms and added Mythtv to my Fedora
system).

I don't _hate_ Microsoft, but I've been annoyed enough by their
products and policies that I prefer to fill my software needs from
other sources (my mouse needs, too, now that I've reached the
conclusion that low-end Microsoft mice are too short-lived).
