I have to run mythtranscode --mpeg2 before exporting or reencoding video.  I
find that this is necessary particularly if the video recording is a live tv
recording.  Otherwise, I get av sync errors.   The error message about the
queue being full might be indicative of user job backlogs.  You can check
mythweb to see if there are a lot of jobs queued.  I have recently run into
this issue as well.
