One other suggestion is the output file name. Currently it's the Title

I use  $VIDEODIR/pda/$TITLE-$STARTTIME-$SUBTITLE.mp4 (with all the spaces
and special chars removed) which looks like:

ATreasureShipsTragedy-20080131030000-.mp4
BattlestarGalactica-20071124210000-Razor.mp4
BeneaththePlanetoftheApes-20080116114500-.mp4
EscapeFromthePlanetoftheApes-20080116094500-.mp4
FamilyGuy-20080302210000-PlayItAgainBrian.mp4

These are stores under my Myth video directory in "pda".
