Hauppauge has a point. In that document, they say they are not selling
an analog viewing device. They are selling a computer component that
enables analog capture, so it should be illegal to sell a computer for
viewing TV that does not include a digital tuner but should not be
illegal to add analog tuning to a computer. Obviously the law is
trying to do everything they can to rid the country of analog but
can't come right out and say that so there are loop-holes in the laws.
I hope Hauppauge fights it more.
