[mythtv-users] Access /dev/video0 from Vmware guest

I'm toying with the idea of trying myth svn - but in a virtual machine.

 

Would I be able to access /dev/video0 device from a VM?  From the VMware
site it looks like a no, but a number of email posts suggest yes.  Anyone
have experience with this?
