OK, I'm coming into this thread a little late, but it doesn't seem like 
anybody's asked this yet.

Did you copy the /var/www/html/mythweb/mythweb.conf.apache file to 
Apache's configuration directory (/etc/httpd/conf.d/ on my system), and 
modify it with your database information (and hopefully http 
authorization information)?  This is the file that tells mythweb how to 
connect to the database.

This is step 4.3 in the INSTALL instructions.
