Can't speak for the N800 but the A605 can with no issues.

Whatever complaints people may have about the Archos, you just can't beat it
for playing videos on a small handheld device. 800x480 resolution, fantastic
picture quality, and after buying the two additional codec packs it plays
pretty much every video I've tried. There have been some complaints that
it's not loud enough, but I have bad hearing and after switching to a $20
pair of in-ear-canal type headphones it's just fine on a noisy plane. The
headphones it comes with are not great.

It's also worth noting that the Archos 605 is available in a 4G + SD card
configuration, or HD options ranging from 30G to 160G. I've had mine for
about 3 months, and I've been on a plane basically every weekend since
getting it, and it's been fantastic.

For $30 I picked up a "mini-dock" for it that allows for wall charging (tons
faster than usb), has a standard mini-usb connector, and has
connectors/cables to output to TV.

For Linux/MythTV users it's also worth noting that unlike an iPod/Zune you can
connect the Archos as a standard USB drive, drag and drop files from your
computer, and play them without hassle.
