Thanks Nick and Phil,
What annoys me know is i have seen both of these before and neither worked.
Obviously if youve used them they are good so im going to have to make sure
that the IR transmitter is good. It handles my TV, but i had issue getting
it to control my Xbox360 as well, it may not be running right.

Hi Adam,
I used to use myth with Optus digital about a year ago, which is the
same STB as Foxtel Digital. Now, I don't know if they've changed the
STB within the past year, but this is the LIRC config I used -
