Sorry.  Myth won't allow this.  Myth, a Digital Video /Recorder/
considers recordings to be more important than LiveTV, so it will use
any available capture card when time comes to record a show /you asked
it to record/.

So, Dan's approach is the closest thing to what you want.  Or, you can
teach your family members when they get a "all tuners busy" popup when
trying to enter LiveTV how to go into Watch Recordings and delete (and
allow re-record) one of the currently recording shows (which, I'm sure
they think are far less important than whatever garba^H^H^H^H^His on
other channels--the channels that are showing shows that your recording
rules say are lower priority than any of the shows that Myth was trying
to record).

However, as with a significant number of issues users have, the problem
you're trying to solve (not having an available capture card) can be
solved by simply getting an appropriate number of capture cards.
