It's theme-specific so whever you got the theme should have mentioned 
"If you're using this theme, you need to have XXX font(s) installed."

That seems wrong. You should be getting nice channel names/icons. You're 
not scanning your analog sources are you? You should be "fetching" those 
and only scanning your digital sources.

Yeah, nothing like that I don't think. You can choose one or the other 
unless someone decides to change the functionality.

Hmm.. if you are getting 25 thumbnails then you're not getting "all" the 
channels. :) Most people use the program guide when they want to see 
what's on more than 1 channel at a time. I have mine set to display 5 
channels on the screen and scroll through those if I'm looking for 
something to watch. Someone put out something called LinuxMCE which uses 
MythTV for its TV-capabilities but has its own UI on top of it which has 
something like that. I think it's ugly, but some people seem to like it.
