[mythtv-users] "Internal" video player issues

Hello,

To start, I'm running the SniderPad MythFrontend.app 0.21 builds on Intel
Mac Mini's running OSX 10.4.11.

I've noticed a few issues with the Default "Internal" player that comes with
MythFrontend. I started ripping DVDs with the Import DVD feature with the
settings that produce a VOB file for the movie (Perfect, I think). Most
DVDs ripped in this manner play flawlesssly. Every once in a while,
however, the Internal player has a problem with particular DVD rips. I can
identify two below:

   1. *Enemy Mine* - Region 1 - When trying to scan ahead the Internal
player's OSD reports a length of ~4.5 minutes. The movie refuses to play
   beyond that point.
   2. *The Thirteenth Warrior* - Region 1 - Internal Player reports a
similarly short time as with *Enemy Mine* except no skipping is
allowed beyond the end. It does continue to play beyond the length
   reported, however.

Both files play back flawlessly in MPlayer with the proper times reported.
I'd really like to stick with the Internal player whenever possible (to
sidestep the problem I outlined here:
http://www.gossamer-threads.com/lists/mythtv/users/326508 ).

Does anyone know what's up? Anyone have any idea how to fix this?
