I think you should rather purchase a graphics card with native component 
out.

I received a component breakout cable with my 7600GT, I bet they are 
available with the cheaper cards as well. Check out the "hdtv out" that 
for instance
<http://www.asus.com/products.aspx?l1=2&l2=6&l3=266&l4=0&model=1252&modelmenu=1> 
comes with. I believe it is actually component out.
