I'm too am still running Mythbuntu 0.20.2 (not for much longer!) and I
get some sort of perverse pleasure from watching the system pop-up the
"I'm about to record a show on a different channel" deal and then
automatically change the channel - so I know it works.

Is channel changing ever unreliable for you?
