I've been developing a frontend for the iPhone and the first thing I did 
was port the MySQL client libraries and tools.

Installer souce is available here: http://iphone.vulturest.com/repo.xml

The MySQL 5 Client Tools package I created at that location contains a 
working libmysqlclient and working mysql, mysqladmin and mysqldump 
command line utilies.

You need a jailbroken iPhone/Touch, so I don't know how useful it will 
be to you, but for everyone else out there that needs working iPhone 
mysql libraries, please go ahead.
