[mythtv-users] Hauppauge HD PVR 1212 - bitrate vs. resolution

The Hauppauge HD PVR 1212 is suppose to allow bitrates from 1Mbs to
13.5Mbs.  It is also suppose to automatically record at what ever
resolution is being fed to it's component input.

My question is, can you tell it to use a different bitrate per
resolution?  13.5Mbs might be great for 1080i, but would be over-kill
for 480p.
