[mythtv-users] MythTV + Asterisk

Hi,

has anyone connected asterisk and mythtv? I thought about that after i 
connected asterisk and nagios these days. With phpagi this wouldn't be much 
complicated.

Basic features should be:

* Add new recording -> search by channel, time or title
-> All informations for this are in the database, but how do i define a new 
recording? Is it enough to put it in the database? Or must it be done via 
MythTV-API?

* Get status information
-> This could be done via the xml file easily
