Also make sure you're clear about which country (if your getting to that 
level) this is relevant for.  As it's really rather irritating to see 
people suggesting a modest/low-power machine can do HD... only to find 
they mean MPEG2 and not PAFF'd h264 streams from BBC HD in the UK.
