[mythtv-users] What is the best distro / kernel version /ivtv version for mythtv

I could be totally wrong about this, but that kernel is nearly a year
old, and I think that may be why it works well. There was something
with 2.6.23 or 2.6.24 where they redid a bunch of the ivtv stuff and at
that point, although some things worked way better, some other subtle
things seemed to go a bit south, i.e. the buffer / "application not
reading data fast enough" thing.
Not sure what the kernel version was on centOS but my i386 fedora 8 box
(already a version behind) is 2.6.24.5. My x86_64 on f9 is 2.6.25-14
(but I would recommend waiting another month before doing anything with
f9, particularly if you're running an nvidia graphics card).
