I'm confused though... I thought that the mobo could use either a pentium m or celeron m, and I thought that the linked proc was a pentium M with the 478 socket thing. Is there a difference between the pentium M and pentium 4 M ?

That isn't the right kind of processor. You need a pentium-m, not a
mobile pentium 4.
