I've been using it (carefully, but not shyly) for everything from removing orphans, stuck transcode, commflag jobs, etc., to changing tuner card numbers, adding channels, lineups, avi's and mpg's to recorded... for over two years, and now you tell me it's dangerous?
Wish I'd heard this long ago...
Had I been doing these things via the command line, I can guarantee I would have broken it dozens of times.
Haven't had to resort to a backup yet, (you do make backups?) using phpmyadmin.
