I picked up a Turtle Beach Audio Advantage Micro at Fry's last night for $29.99.

My Mythdora 5 system picked it right up as /dev/dsp1.  Set Myth's
player (setup/ general setup) to use /dev/dsp1 and it played right
through the surround system.  I'll try it out on some of the HD
football games this weekend and see if it's really coming through as
surround.

It was plug-and-play easy.
