[mythtv-users] Poor de-interlacing when ripping DVD, solution?

Hi

I'm ripping some of my DVDs for convenience on my PC using MythTV,
using the "good" quality option.

I've noticed that de-interlacing isn't done properly at all, it looks
terrible like during fast moving scene like the "Gaumont" production
scene:

That's on my 1280x800 laptop, on a 46" TV it looks worse obviously....

Any ideas on how to prevent this from happening ? it's very noticeable...
