[mythtv-users] Anyone have a good link for hardware recommendations?

I'm building a new Myth box as a project for the cold months.  The Silverstonetek case has just arrived and now I need to fill it with goodies.  Most of the hits I have found while googling are a year old or more, I'd like an up-to-the-minute perspective if possible.

I'm on the fence as to whether I should put an obscene amount of storage and power into the box and use it for transcoding as well as everything else, or if I should save my money for a dedicated backend.

I would also appreciate recommendations for the following:
- mobo
- CPU
- power supply & fans
- video cards
