I recall posts saying that pci was not fast enough to do HD video.  In
reviewing the post
http://mail.google.com/mail/#search/pci/11d723c9402b8274 it seems like
the concern was having the capture card and the video card both PCI.
I assume you are going to use a HDHR, which works great by the way, so
you will not have that problem.
