I think the OP was assuming it would need to be 'pre-owned'.
I haven't seen any largish (over 22") TVs come up on my local
'freecycle' board (LONDON, UK) recently. For a while I've been
wondering whether to buy a new 32" LCD ( £400 ish) or a used 32"
100Hz CRT which seem to come up on ebay every now and then for about
£60-£100. What's been stopping me is the speed with which LCD prices
are falling and the need for a second hand CRT to be *very* local, for
me to be able to go and collect it.
My impession is that, for SD, the CRT would look better.
