Are there not set top boxes that a TiVo can control like a cable box? 
That's what I was going to do w/my ReplayTV.  However, that begs the 
question: "Will Sony / Marantz (who owns SonicBlue now?) continue to 
supply usable data to these boxes after the ATSC conversion?".  Sticky 
question as I believe many hold life time contracts.
