Is your DISPLAY deffinatly set correctly? What machine are you SSHing from?
I run setup from a be/fe with Nvidia hardware remotely on a windows desktop
(using Cygwin X)
/usr/local/mythtv/bin/mythtv-setup -geometry 800x600+1040+200
works fine for me?
(I know that's not much help)
Might be worth cheching the value of 'echo $DISPLAY' if you haven't already?
