[mythtv-users] Problems with new setup???

Hey guys.
I'm reinstalling my whole setup after getting some new Tunercards - but
running into a problem.
I have a seperate Backend server running in my Garage and that one is
the problem. beyonfd that I got 3 frontends in the house
After installing mythtv ( Running ArchLinux) I'll inserting the mc.sql
to the DB - looks like this:
# cat /usr/share/mythtv/mc.sql
CREATE DATABASE if not exists mythconverg;
GRANT ALL ON mythconverg.* TO mythtv@'%' IDENTIFIED BY "mythtv";
FLUSH PRIVILEGES;
GRANT CREATE TEMPORARY TABLES ON mythconverg.* TO mythtv@'%' IDENTIFIED
BY "mythtv";
FLUSH PRIVILEGES;
ALTER DATABASE mythconverg DEFAULT CHARACTER SET latin1;
(In my believe should this allow each host to connect to the DB ??? )
Gives me this in DB table:

Afterwards I'm testing the DB - with this command:
# mysql -p -u mythtv
Enter password:
ERROR 1045 (28000): Access denied for user 'mythtv'@'localhost' (using
password: YES)
But each time I run mythtv-setup - It says It cannot connect to Mysqldb.
I check that skip-networking in my.cnf is outcomment!
A netstat -tang shows:

So my Database listens also to the network - so it should be something
inside the DB - that does this problem???
Then why cannot I not connect to the database ???
Where is the problem?? ?I cannot see it ?
A tail in the Mythbackend.log gives constantly this error:
Cannot login to database?
