[mythtv-users] Problems with secondary backend crashing - tuners (currently not connected).

I have had an issue off and on since I installed a PVR 1600 in a
secondary backend where the backend's two tuners both from the 1600
will become not connected from the maser backend. The end result is
either incomplete or missed recordings as a result. Tonight when I
did a sample recording it failed about 15 minutes into a 2 hour
recording. I got a few excerpts from the backend log that I am
including below. I am using the latest beta drivers and installed
them per the directions on the mythtv wiki page for the PVR 1600. The
issues seem to have increased in frequency since I updated the driver
when I did a recent kernel patch. I have thought about going back to
the initial beta driver I was using but have not yet reverted. When
the cards become unconnected the only way of getting them back is to
restart the backend process on the secondary backend.

Secondary backend is a P4 2.4Ghz with 1Gig ram. Since the 1600 has
hardware mpeg encoder for its analog input I do not feel the system's
specs are an issue. The captures that are failing are not on the
digital tuner but on the analog tuner.

Excerpt from mythbackend.log on secondary backend. Note the recording
started at 16:00 but failed soon after. I see no real indicator as to
the exact time of failure but it seemed to closely correlate to one of
the timeout messages.
