[mythtv-users] Just let my TV de-interlace

I have a 1080p TV hooked up to my computer, right now I have the
nvidia card set up to do 1920x1080 at 60Hz over DVI.

Is there an easy way to setup the screen to match the resolution and
interlace of the video? I just use US OTA (ATSC), so I have some
recordings that are 1080i, some that are 720p, and some that are 480i,
and my TV will understand all three over hdmi. Are there modlines for
an nvidia card to do 1080i over DVI? I'm pretty sure it would be
possible over component, but I'd rather stick with DVI for now. Then
even if there is a modline for it, how do I tell myth to use a
specific modline vs just a resolution (which selects 60Hz of course).

This way I could just do away with any cpu wasted on de-interlacing,
or would there be a major downside to this that I'm not seeing?
