[mythtv-users] Skipping on latest SVN

I have a frontend (Sempron 3300) that previously had no problems playing 
back videos that were ripped from DVD.  I updated from a very old 
revision of .21 and now Im getting skipping in the video every 10 
seconds or so.  This is what I see in the log if I enable v playback:

2008-10-29 18:27:03.737 NVP: Video is 3.14949 frames ahead of audio,
                        doubling video frame interval to slow down.
2008-10-29 18:27:03.804 NVP: Video is 3.42606 frames ahead of audio,
                        doubling video frame interval to slow down.
2008-10-29 18:27:03.870 NVP: Video is 3.38623 frames ahead of audio,
                        doubling video frame interval to slow down.
2008-10-29 18:27:03.937 NVP: Video is 3.22898 frames ahead of audio,
                        doubling video frame interval to slow down.

I see lots of these every time it skips.

I have an Nvidia 5200 graphics card and this should be more than enough 
to view this content.  Can anyone give me some suggestions?
