According to the alsa vendor matrix, SPDIF is not supported on the
audigy 2nx.
Sound Blaster Audigy2 NX	[USB] [ANALOGio] SPDIF output does not
function.

In fact, I cannot find any combination of USB/firewire with functioning
SPDIF out.
Ugh!

Anyone doing this?
