I have multiple frontends with AC3 passthrough on one and analog on
the other two. They all work fine.  In fact, if I look at mythweb, I
have more frontend setups than frontends as every time I installed a
frontend and changed the name, it created another frontend in the data
base.  So, at least in .21, they are independent.
