[mythtv-users] unable to watch tv

Hi

I have just installed and configured mythtv.I use debian testing and I 
have a hauppauge wintv pvr 250pci. I ran mythtv-setup and 
mythfilldatabase with no error messages. The program info thing works 
correcty. Though I am unable to watch tv. When I run mythtvfrontend and 
select watch tv the screen goes black for a short time and then I get 
the menu screen again...

I tried to watch tv through the totem plugin. I get a list of mythtv 
recordings "unknown" and when I try to open one of them I get a "stream 
contains no data" error.

I think the tv card is installed correcty.. cat /dev/video1/ >> test.mpg 
works fine.
