If you're in the SF Bay Area, you will likely do well. ;)
(note that you will still have to get past the pains of learning to
properly prime firewire, and keep it primed)
But yes, I personally get most everything except for KPIX (which is
weird, as it's in the clear via QAM). I used to get my HBO and
showtime too, but that recently changed. This is in San Jose.
