If this is a fresh install, I suggest reinstalling.  I have done 3 mythbuntu
systems.  All work and the average for me is probably 3 installs per system
to get it working.  The rule of thumb is that if you make any mistake at all
in the install and think you can back up and fix it, don't.  Just start
over.
