[mythtv-users] HDHR working but channel mapping is incorrect

The channel number is just for you. You can name it anything you like
or keep what the scan numbered it. The frequency and freqid (in the
dB) is what MythTV uses to tune. I name the channel to something
slightly different too, to know what feed to was recorded from.
