[mythtv-users] Why has no one implemented subtext commercial filtering?

Interesting.

 

I did notice that he was trying to figure out common words to filter out.

 

However, what about using lists of actual subtext from known commercials and/or lists of actual subtext from known television shows?  I'm not sure if that was brought up in the thread.  Maybe I should contact the person who was trying it out directly?
