Correct. Single Record rules are exactly that; record that recording
at that time.

Single Record rules should almost never be used. If a movie, use Find
One/"Record one showing of this title" instead. If one wants to record
a single specific episode of a TV show (for which there is no true
equivalent of Find One, unfortunately), try this:

Look at the list of upcoming episodes of the show.
Highlight the one you want.
Push "E" to create a new custom rule.
Select "Match this episode," then add it to the rule.
Click Record, then select "Record one showing of this title."
