This does not seem to effect every kernel. I am stuck on 2.6.27.21
since that is the latest openvz kernel and I also have 2TB of my
mythdata on ext4. I recently converted from using xfs for recordings
to using ext4 for everything. I had been testing ext4 for 8 months
before that without a single problem that I can remember.
