I guess that I'm also eagerly awaiting a response to your email because
I'm trying to do almost the same thing except that for now it will only be a
DCH3200 -> firewire -> BE only (Thiinkpad laptop).
This has some channels that I can't seem to get any other way without
renting a second STB.
Which of the two FW ports are you using?
Have you tried mythprime?
My provider ( Charter ) has assured me that the port(s) are not disabled.
