It depends on which mac mini you have. The ones they sell right now
have Nvidia 9400M chips in them. I believe the ones before this
hardware revision didn't use Nvidia chips. So if yours is new then you
can use Nvidia's VDPAU. If it doesn't have an Nvidia chip then you are
out of luck. I don't think there is currently any other hardware
acceleration in Linux for H.264 besides VDPAU.
