[mythtv-users] Custom recording rule help needed.

I would like to create a  custom recording rule that will record every 
premier show (and only premier shows) on a certain channel. Is this 
possible? With the new season fast approaching and most commercials 
flagged out I want to make sure I catch the new series. Also, is it 
possible to create a series of exclusions to the rule just in case I 
need to block a certain show. As usual google returned too much info so 
I am turning to the experts.
