Help please! I've added an usb tuner - Asus U3100 to my system but MythTV
backend can't see it. It's saying "Could not get card info for car #0
Subtype: ".

I've followed directions here -
http://www.mythtv.org/wiki/Asus_My_Cinema_U3100_mini - and have updated
v4l-dvb.

I'm running Ubuntu 8.10 with standard Myth 0.21. Existing tuner card is
Winfast DTV2000h which is still working fine.

/var/log/messages states (after unplugging & plugging in)...

[ 1797.458128] dvb-usb: ASUS My Cinema U3100 Mini DVBT Tuner successfully
deinitialized and disconnected.

[ 1804.180770] dvb-usb: ASUS My Cinema U3100 Mini DVBT Tuner successfully

Can anyone see any problems here?

Should I just upgrade the whole system to a new version and hope it all
works? If so, how do I keep my existing library and not break video, sound,
lirc & mythtv settings, all of which have taken a fair bit of time to setup,
especially for someone new to linux.

Thanks,
Stuart.
