[mythtv-users] Cannot play TV

Hi,

I'm still new to MythTV, so I'll happily be corrected by "the experts".

To me, looks like your separate front end is trying to access the video file
locally and is failing (cause it's on the backend).

I think there's an "always steam from the backend" option - perhaps enable
that and see how you get on?

Hi

I am running Mythtv 0.21 with separate front and back ends. When i try to
watch tv using my frontend computer it starts playing with a black screen.
the on screen display shows the channel number and name and then stops after
about 5 seconds.

The backend log output is below:

How can I fix this?
